August 1, 2022 (Bakersfield, CA.) – As the dog days of summer scorch the ground, at least we can take your mind for just one minute to look forward to the 2nd Annual AMA California State Shootout presented by Motul at Kern County Raceway this New Years weekend, December 29-January 1, 2023. The format has been tightened to provide a great weekend of Supercross and Motocross racing.
Early registration will open on October 1st with an age effective date of January 1, 2022. You can choose to race Supercross, Motocross, or both; just don’t miss out on this great event. Each event has its own contingency and awards with 5 additional specialty awards to combine Supercross and Motocross scoring.
For the 327 entries that made the inaugural Cal State Shootout, they will tell you how well the event came off and how much seat time each class received. This year, Supercross will be on Friday, December 30th and then we will reload for Motocross with 1st moto’s on Saturday, December 31st and 2nd moto’s on Sunday, January 1st, 2023.
