Bakersfield, CA (December 29, 2021) – The Inaugural AMA California State Supercross Shootout is in the books and while the turnout was light, the riders did not get cut short any riding.  Regardless of how many riders come to Kern County Raceway for 1st motos on Friday, once again riders will be treated to a great track, great dirt, great fellowship, and great memories to start the New Year.

Thursday practice will start at 8:00AM (not 7am as first published).  It turns out that someone on our staff (not naming names) forgot there are no lights on the motocross track.  If you didn’t race Supercross, get ready for some seat time in Motocross.  All riders who practice on Thursday must be registered to race the Motocross event.

You can continue to register online by using the QR code in this email.  Regardless of whether you raced already, everyone must CHECK-IN at registration before practicing or racing Motocross.  Registration will remain open through Friday morning.  Please check the event schedule on the website under “EVENTS.”

Don’t forget, each class champion from Supercross and Motocross will be invited to attend the CHAMPIONS TRACK WALK at Angel Stadium on January 7th with 6-Time AMA National Motocross Champion and Hall of Famer, Broc Glover.  Those class champions will receive their instructions at the conclusion of the Cal Shootout.
