February 1, 2021 (Bakersfield, CA.) – Riding Racing Youth Development (RRYD) is privileged to announce the 2021 AMA California State Shootout at Kern County Raceway Park (KCRP) during New Year’s week, December 28th through January 1, 2022.  The newly developed state championship is designed with the aim to bring long moto’s to each and every class.

The Cal State Shootout is being hosted at KCRP located on I-5 in Bakersfield, and 19 miles east of downtown.  The track flows well with high and low-speed areas along with technical jumps built by Joe Reynolds.  The park offers level paved asphalt parking for everyone with permanent restrooms, unique Supercross and Motocross tracks, natural loam dirt, located within the city limits of Bakersfield, and direct access off I-5.

The California State Shootout will begin with an all-new Supercross event.  The Cal State Supercross is only part one of the complete Shootout.  The last three days will be held on the American MX motocross track that is placed in the middle of a valley.  With two days of heats, LCQ’s, and main events of Supercross and the other three days of Motocross, riders will be crowned champions.  If that wasn’t enough bang for the buck, the motocross event will offer timed practice for 1st moto gate pick.

Starting with the Peewee “E” class and ending with an array of Vet classes up to 50 plus years, the State Shootout will provide 38 classes with great competition.   Early registration opens on October 1st.
