December 9, 2021 (Bakersfield, CA.) – Tomorrow marks one week until EARLY REGISTRATION closes for the Inaugural AMA California State Shootout presented by Motul. Don’t sweat it if you can’t utilize early registration because post registration will open at the track on Monday, December 27th. The only thing you will miss out on is the incentive of saving $10 per class for early registration. One other perk is that a lucky rider will receive one FREE race entry for entering online.
By now you know this is an AMA-sanctioned event. We do not have any promoter memberships, just the one, and only American Motorcyclist Association annual (or daily) membership is required for racers that compete (family members are not required). And why not be a member of the AMA anyway? Much like many of us enjoy the freedom of owning guns, we support the National Rifle Association with our membership. Get one flat tire or lock your keys in your car and that AMA membership will pay for itself. We are not here to fee you to death but we want your membership to be worth something.
When you register, post this image (I’m Registered) on your social media with the HASHTAG, “CalStateShootout and CalStateMX”. Follow us on Instagram and one person that post this image with the hashtag will receive one FREE race entry. EARLY REGISTRATION is open through next Friday, December 20th. Then we shift to post-registration at the track on December 27th. Either way, you won’t miss out.

About the AMA California State Shootout:
The AMA California State Shootout is a unique event that offers Supercross and Motocross within one event during the New Year’s holiday one week prior to the opening of the professional Supercross. Seat time plays a big part in how the Shootout provides a great value and experience for each rider. The main events of Supercross are timed so each class has equal time in the competition. The motocross event offers timed practice for 1st moto gate pick along with timed first and second motos.
